Jessica Jones ThoughtsStarting real quick by mentioning Jessica Jones. Finished binge-watching it and I can say with full certainty that it was amazing. Daredevil was fantastic, but the reason why I liked Jessica Jones a bit more was because of how personal it was. Daredevil’s main theme was morality, and Jessica Jones’ theme was control. Both had one theme in common though: sometimes you can’t always have an Iron Man or a Captain America to deal with the “small-time” threats, but those threats are insanely vicious because of how it affects the average person/superhuman.
When I was watching Jessica Jones I thought, “I don’t think Jessica Jones herself is likeable”. But then I quickly realized while continuing watching the show that this was intentional. Jessica Jones herself is not a likeable person after Kilgrave got a hold of her, and she built an almost impenetrable wall around her to protect herself and others from experiencing the same thing again.
Captain America Civil War Trailer ThoughtsSo the trailer dropped recently and I was intrigued. I really love the Marvel Cinematic Universe for many reasons, but I’m just gonna talk about what people have been saying since the trailer was released.
“Why is there no Spider-Man?” = Guys, they’re saving the reveal/money shot for later. Marvel knows they have our attention, and they will deliver.
“It felt disappointing watching the trailer because it’s not like the comic version” = This one really makes me mad. Of course its not going to be EXACTLY like the comic book event. Wanna know why? Primarily because Marvel doesn’t own the movie rights to some big players such as the Fantastic Four and X-Men. And in the comic, the x-men (minus Wolverine) chose to stay out of the confrontation because they were under strict military surveillance because of the catalyst that started the whole event. As for the Fantastic Four, sadly, they are still with Fox as well.
Still not 100% operactiveBut you might see me post stuff from time to time.

I just want to finish the university and find the first work I can do.
Or, at least, finish the university and search for it; if I don't find it, I can always do something.
But my plan actually is to get a job so that I can start my own life.
I love my family, of course, but I need to start with something new.
I know it is harder to live by myself (even though actually my idea would be to live
Marvel's Jessica Jones - My opinions on it so farBefore I start this, I just want to say that I like Daredevil. I did enjoy the first season. It had great actors, action and captured the grittiness of Hells Kitchen. The Problem for me was that it took a while to gain momentum. It wasn't bad, it just felt a little slow but I have high hopes for Season Two and what can I say? I'm just excited.
However, I started watching Marvel's Jessica Jones yesterday. From Episode One, I couldn't stop watching it. I just got hooked. I'm onto Episode 10 now of the 13 episode first season and I just love it. Marvel have really gone down the dark, psychotic twisted route with this one to the point that IMO it can be as dark as the serial killer arc in Gotham. Hells Kitchen has never been moodier, the characters are....well apart from Krysten Ritter, are glamorous looking. We have a cop who looks like a Chris Evan's cosplayer, a talk show radio host who isn't really anything special to begin with, a lesbian attorney who has her own divorce side story (Wh
